Made some mistakes?

Up to your neck in things?

Wondering about the meaning of things?

In conflict?

Having disagreements with your partner?

Not sure which way to go?

Feel like things are coming down around you?

Revs. Nat and Suzanne Carter are Unity ministers who have been serving Unity churches since 1985 in MO, WA, MI and now Colorado.
Nat is the senior minister and handles the main responsibilities of the ministry.
Suzanne is a professional psychotherapist employed by the church as a part-time minister and as the director of the Unity Center for Spiritual Wholeness.
Together, they offer the following one-on-one services:
Nat is available for limited counseling, coaching and spiritual direction on a love offering basis.
Suzanne offers professional counseling, coaching and therapy on a fee for service basis. Her sliding scale for a 60 minute office visit is $65-125. Financial support to reduce the cost of Suzanne’s services is available for church volunteers.
Suzanne’s skills include but are not limited to the following:
Experiential Therapy: going beyond traditional “talk therapy" to engage the feelings, body and spirituality.
Spiritual Counseling: Enabling the counselee to connect with their higher power as they understand the Divine and to facilitate wholeness through this connection.
Coaching: Clients become more clearly aware of their gifts and strengths, and through this understanding come to a deeper awareness of their goals, dreams and desires. In this dual process, they will know what to do and how to make their dreams come true.
Child counseling/Play Therapy: Through the medium of Play (the Child’s natural medium of expression), the child is able to deal with and heal many issues that are getting in the way of normal development.
Couple’s Counseling: Suzanne has extensive experience and training in this field. She is able to help the couple find new ways of communicating, problem solving, discover the real purpose of their marriage and truly find the way to the deepest emotional and spiritual intimacy that a couple can experience which is the “Pearl of great price”.
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP): An experiential form of therapy where the participants learn about themselves and others by participating in non-riding activities with a horse. Non-verbal communication, assertiveness, creative thinking and problem solving, leadership work, taking responsibility, team work, and relationships, confidence, and attitude are several examples of the tools utilized and developed by EAP.
Family Counseling: Every family is different; therefore, a variety of counseling skills to heal any issue that your family may be experiencing is available. So, whether your immediate family is in need of counseling services or your extended family is experiencing conflict, you can find the help you need to transform conflict into new strengths.
Grief Counseling: Grief is the normal and natural reaction to all types of loss. Grief is not just about death; it is the response to all types of loss. It is also the most misunderstood of all emotions. All people have dreams that have been put on the “back burner”. Often those dreams are placed there because of lack of Grief Recovery. The heaviness of loss and the resulting grief keeps most people feeling too overwhelmed to attempt to fulfill their dreams. When a person has the courage and willingness to deal with their losses that have been mounting up since they were born, their life energy is freed up to truly make their dreams come true.
Psychodrama: a type of experiential therapy whereby the individual gets in touch with different aspects of their personality.
