Church Administrator and Prayer Chaplain Coordinator

What brought you to Unity and Unity Church of Denver?
I needed an officiant for my Dad's funeral (my Dad was a spiritual man but was definitely skeptical of organized religion!) The energy here at Unity of Denver fit so perfectly with my internal barometer of God and touched me so deeply that I wanted to start attending the church!

What do you love or appreciate the most about Unity Church of Denver?
The philosophy of Oneness—with each other and with God, as well as the positive, affirming nature of the Unity message.

What’s one spiritual teaching or idea that guides your life?
To loosen my need to CONTROL life—and just live life—trusting and knowing that God works for and with me, even through me, when I get out of the way!

What do you wish people could know about Unity Church of Denver?
That it is a place where we are recognized as Children of God.  As such we are built up, not broken down—there is nothing to feel guilty for or confess here . . . only a growing  recognition of who we all really are—perfect, whole, strong and free—just as God created us to be.

What are some books, movies, songs, quotes, affirmations, etc. that have supported you in your spiritual growth?
“Your thought is your life” . . . realizing how, what  we think completely shapes our experience of our life. We can’t always control what happens to us but we do have a great deal of power in what we think about it!

What’s one spiritual practice that has supported you in your life?
Meditation and prayer.
